BizRecycling Pre Grant Report

Introduction

Quantities of waste coming from your business before you started or improved a recycling or food waste/organics collection program are needed to calculate baseline material volumes. At the end of the grant period, you will be asked to complete a similar post-grant report. From these two reports, BizRecycling grant staff will calculate the (anticipated) increase in the amount of materials recycled or recovered and no longer disposed of as trash. This will then help calculate the waste diversion rate and will show how effective the BizRecycling grant was in increasing recycling and food waste/organics recovery for your business. Diversion figures for your business will be combined with others to give a similar figure for all grant participants in the East Metro.
