The Houston Independent School District and Houston Education Research Consortium (HERC) at Rice University are requesting your participation in a study of pre-kindergarten programs in HISD.
If you choose to be in the study, you will complete a short questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to better understand the experiences of pre-kindergarten students in HISD. The data collected are not intended to serve as an evaluation of any particular school or Early Childhood Center, but to help researchers understand the average experiences of pre-k students in HISD. Your participation will provide researchers an opportunity to conduct high quality research on an often understudied area in education research. The questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
You can skip questions that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time. The questionnaire is anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the questionnaire responses. This research study is voluntary. Please tell the researcher if you do not want to participate.
