Artificial intelligence tools in OH consultations and reports
Tea-breaker poll: OH practitioners’ views and experiences of using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tools in OH consultations and/or report writing - a follow-up survey.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used in occupational health practice with many OH services already integrating the technology into their procedures for undertaking consultations and preparing reports for management. In summer 2025, we asked OH professionals for their views on and experiences with using advanced AI tools in OH consultations and/or report writing, with the results published in the journal Occupational Health at Work. Since then, AI has become ubiquitous – at work and in wider society. Our latest Tea-breaker poll explores OH professionals’ current views on, and interactions with, AI in OH consultations and report writing.
For reference, tools include generative AI, such as ChatGPT, Co-Pilot and Gemini, proprietary clinical scribing tools, such as Heidi Health, Tortus AI and Wavo Health, and in-house/bespoke systems.
The survey findings will be published in Occupational Health at Work, with a summary published in our newsletter.
