PNGTPA, as the national tourism body has been in liaison with stakeholders nationwide since 2019 to deliver the following objectives:
Launch the first Tourism Sector Development Plan 2022-2026
Review the National Tourism Policy 1995
Develop a new Tourism Policy
The above has taken the organization a three-year period to reflect on the past experiences and challenges and charter a new way forward for the PNG Tourism Industry to grow for the next twenty years post the pandemic.
It is envisaged that your feedback in the design of the new Tourism Policy – ‘National Tourism Policy 2024-2044’ will be vital to help steer the growth of the PNG Tourism Industry by maximizing our potential to develop Tourism in country through an effective whole of government and partnerships approach.
This survey will be open from 28th November to the 8th December.
