2027 PHCC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

  • The applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a P-H-C related apprenticeship program or technical college program, or be accepted or attending a school of higher education seeking a degree in a P-H-C related field such as engineering, business, etc.
  • Scholarship funds will be used to partially cover schooling fees, (registration, tuition, books, etc.) at an accredited training program, technical school, or college/university. Funds cannot be used to pay for industry-related education (i.e., seminars).
  • The award will be based on the quality of the application. The Scholarship Committee will make the final decision in awarding scholarships.
  • The applicant must enclose a reference letter.
  • The award will be distributed (by check) in the summer 2027, in time for the Fall semester. Checks are made payable directly to the award winner’s school of choice. Applicants/Winners must be enrolled for the Fall 2027 semester to be eligible. If the award winner does not enroll in school for the Fall, the school is asked to return the payment to PHCC-WI, not the award winner.
  • Winners are required to provide timely information regarding the school, address, and student ID number to facilitate check distribution.
  • Winners will be recognized in the P-H-C Contractor magazine. Upon request, winners will be asked to provide a photo and statement of appreciation and, if provided, shall authorize their use in the publication, social media, and related promotional materials for the scholarship program.
  • NO APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2027.
  • The applicant must use the application form attached to this sheet. Applicants can also request a scholarship application by calling PHCC-WI/MPHCCA at (888) 782-6815 or contacting the office (Jane Wucherer) at jane@assocmgmtservices.com.
  • The amount of this scholarship is a minimum of $750.00 per award. Applicants may reapply each year for consideration.

Instructions for Submitting Scholarship Packet

1. Read scholarship rules.

2. Fill out application completely. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

3. Send one (1) copy of each of the following:
A. The scholarship application,
B. Transcripts for last two years of study,

4. Two short essays* (2-3 paragraphs) about:
A. Your career plans and your interest in the P-H-C industry,
B. Your thoughts regarding the “essential” nature of the P-H-C industry.
* Caution: Do NOT use AI to prepare your essays.

5. A reference letter.

6. Verification of attendance/acceptance by the school you will be attending in Fall 2027.
