The San Geronimo Valley Community Center and the Lagunitas School District are engaged in a Concept and Feasibility Design process with Bay Area architecture firm, Noll and Tam, to understand the possibility of building a Joint Use Performing Arts Center. The proposed project site is within the 2,000-square-foot building that used to hold the Marin County public library and is currently used as a classroom for an MCOE special day class and the school library (both of which can be relocated to other unused areas on the campus should this project move forward).

Understanding the wants and needs of our community members is critical to creating a design that will best serve the needs of both our school community and the wider resident population. It should be understood however that at this time, this is only a feasibility study, meaning that we are trying to understand if this project is viable and if the proposed site, budget, and desired programmatic outcomes are possible. Your feedback is critical to this phase of the project.

*Please note that while we will be consolidating all the information and feeding it into the design process, we will not be able to do everything that is suggested. We will be incorporating repeating themes and concepts while also taking into consideration the limitations of the building and budget.
