If you are have been involved with WECIL’s Peer Support Project in the past four years or might like to be in the future, this questionnaire is for you! PLEASE COMPLETE BY 13TH SEPTEMBER.

WECIL’s Peer Support Project is currently funded by the Big Lottery. WECIL received five years of funding for the project, which will finish at the end of July 2016. The funding has been used to pay for the staff that have developed and managed the project, for the activities including trips and drop-in groups, travel costs for volunteers, refreshments and training for volunteers.

Peer support is really important to WECIL and we are committed to continuing to deliver peer support but we now need to develop a plan of how peer support can continue after July 2016, with different levels of funding.

The Big Lottery funding for the Project will continue for 12 months, until July 2016. During this time WECIL will spend lots of time on planning and developing a new approach, we will work with the rest of WECIL, the peer support volunteers and peer support users to re-develop what we offer, so that peer support is at the centre of WECIL.

We want to ensure that more of our volunteers and clients are actively guiding what we deliver so we are starting this planning and development time by consulting with peer support volunteers and peer support users to find out how you want us to continue the service.

The project still has targets from the Big Lottery to meet during the final year, but we may have to find different ways of meeting them, so that we can transition the current service into the new one.

This questionnaire is the first part of this planning and development process. Please answer the questions below and tells us what you think! Please complete this questionnaire by 13th September.
