Following pressure applied from your union, the NSW Government has thrown out its new wages policy and has now offered 2.5%. The Union still believes our members should get more and we will continue to fight for better wages and conditions.

As members know, the HSU put a number of claims to the Ministry including giving our members 100% of their tax savings from salary packaging and fixing up our outdated Awards. The new pay offer does not fix these issues and we are committed to continuing to campaign for these.

What is the new offer?

The Ministry of Health has now offered a 2.5% maximum pay increase from 1 July 2021, including any required increases to superannuation. That means a 2.04% increase in salaries and a 0.5% increase in Superannuation.

We want your say on this pay offer.
