Quality in Care

Mantoulin-Sudbury’s early years and child care sector has a rich history of striving for and providing high quality programs and supports to families and children. As child care evolves and transforms, so does the system, programs and services needed to support quality and inclusion. We want to gain a better understanding of what quality and inclusion mean, look like, and feel like for you.

The development of a Quality Framework and a deeper understanding of inclusion will be collaborative and relies on your insights, engagement and experiences. In your role as a parent/caregiver, we encourage you to take a few minutes to complete this survey.

The first few sets of questions will be used to help us understand who is completing the survey and who we might be missing. All data from this survey is stored by a third-party consulting team and is kept confidential and will only be used to enhance our understanding of quality. You will not be asked to share any identifying information.

Once surveys are returned, we will be doing a draw and you could win one of 30 gift cards ($50 gift card to Amazon). You will be asked at the end of the survey to share your name and email address - your email address will only be used to contact you if you win the draw.

Thank you in advance.

These foundations, or ways of being, are a vision for all children’s future potential and a view of what they should experience each and every day.

Definitions:

Expression: every child is a capable communicator who expresses himself or herself in many ways.

Engagement: every child is an active and engaged learner who explores the world with body, mind and senses.
