PROJECT TITLE
Investigation into parents' well-being
INVESTIGATOR
This study is conducted by Danielle Jernberg who is in the third-year of her BSc.
INVITATION
You are being asked to take part in a study designed by Danielle Jernberg as part of her dissertation. The study is supervised by Dr. Mary Louise Cowan. The study has met the criteria and been approved by the Psychology Research Ethics Committee.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN
In this study, you will be asked to answer some brief questions about you and your family, and about your well-being.
TIME COMMITMENT
Participation typically takes approximately 7 minutes. However, there are no time restrictions so you may take as long as you wish.
PARTICIPANTS’ RIGHTS
Participation in this research study is completely voluntary. Even after you agree to participate and begin the study, you still have the right to withdraw at any time, without having to give a reason by either closing the window or clicking the "Exit"-button.
BENEFITS AND RISKS/DISCOMFORT
There are no known risks to you in this study. Moreover, by participating in this study you will help extend your own understanding along with science' understanding of responses to being a parent.
COST, REIMBURSEMENT, AND COMPENSATION
You will receive no remuneration in return for your participation.
CONFIDENTIALITY/ANONYMITY
The data we collect does not contain any personal information about you except for the general demographic data (age and gender). The information you provide will be kept anonymous and remain confidential. No one will identify you from the data you have provided. The survey is encrypted with SSL/TLS for enhanced security and confidentiality. The IP-number will NOT be recorded ensuring your online participation remains anonymous.
