* 14. Indian Education (IE) services is developing a referral system and form that will be implemented Fall of 2018 to support all American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) students PreK-12th grades. This referral system is designed for IE staff to meet school personnel or family of AIAN students. They can discuss AIAN students’ needs and refer them to IE programs that provide academic and cultural supports. What additional information do you need to take advantage of this referral system?

* 15. The Indian Education program is looking for fresh ideas, methods and presentations, which can be done in an evening.  These must be culturally relevant, inspiring, educational and supportive.  Here are some suggestions for a starting point:

· Personal or family history.  For example, bring a quilt, drum, cradleboard, etc. and share its story and meaning in your family.

· Make a leather pouch-could be a mirror pouch, etc. – what would you prefer? 

· Tracing your ancestry – what you need, where to look or research, what records are available, etc.

Tell us what you would like for future classes.  It can be from the list above or something else that you think of.

* 16. Do you have something at home that is a part of your cultural heritage? Would you be willing to bring it on a Thursday evening and share how it is important to your family? Examples might be a quilt, feather, award, parenting item, childhood item, family history item, anything culturally significant to your family history and meaning. The ideas can be about a brief presentation and sharing, or about an entire evening’s activity, WE WILL HELP YOU PUT IT TOGETHER! Please briefly describe what it might be:
