OwlSpark 2016: Class 4 Startup Team Application |
Welcome
To be considered for the 2016 cohort, one application per team must be completed by the startup team leader. Only one application per startup team may be submitted.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY
Startup teams must have two to five founders. Teams with only one member will not be considered.
At least one founder must be affiliated with Rice University. This includes students, faculty, staff, and / or alumni within five years of graduation.
All founders are expected to participate full-time between May 23 and August 12, 2016, and must be present at the mentor pairing event in June, as well as the showcase event in August. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
All founders must demonstrate a strong commitment and vested interest in launching their business.
PREPARING FOR THE APPLICATION PROCESS
The application is divided into two sections: (1) the technology, and (2) the startup team. You should be prepared to provide detailed, concise answers to questions surrounding both of these topics. We encourage each founder to review the application questions prior to applying.
