Ōwhiro Bay Residents Association Coastal Survey

Kia Ora from the Ōwhiro Bay Residents Association. Currently we are working with WCC to look at options for Coastal management of the South Coast, specifically Ōwhiro Bay. Our recent experiences of storm surges and large wave events, along with the risks of sea level rise and climate change creating more extreme weather patterns, means it is very important that this is considered in WCC’s long term planning. We want the South Coast community to be involved in shaping the options and decisions in that process. This survey is targeted at gathering information that will help us inform and influence that process. Thanks for your time.

It is mostly minor, we get spray onto the footpath
