Safe Clean Water: Oro Vista Avenue Project

The Oro Vista Avenue Project aims to add green infrastructure along the street to help capture, treat, and infiltrate some of the stormwater that flows through the Sunland-Tujunga community.

One of the main benefits of the project will be to capture the pollutants that stormwater carries downstream. Those pollutants include oil, trash, metals, and others that degrade the water quality of the Los Angeles River and other local waterways.

As part of this project, trees and shrubs will be planted along Oro Vista Avenue from the Haines Canyon Channel to Wyngate Street.

We want YOUR help to determine what species of trees and shrubs will be planted to beautify the community!

Please complete the survey to let us know what type of green elements you prefer, and share the survey with friends & family.
