Dear Business Representative:

Ohio EPA Director Craig Butler invites you to attend an Oil and Gas open house event from 1 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday, October 17th at Zane State College, Cambridge Campus, 9900 Brick Church Road, Cambridge, OH 43725.

Director Butler will share his priorities, answer your questions and discuss his approach to helping Ohio's oil and gas industry maintain compliance while becoming better stewards of the environment.

Who should attend?

Our upcoming event is targeted to small oil and gas well owners that interact with Ohio EPA's Division of Air Pollution Control and Ohio DNR’s Division of Oil and Gas in the following counties:  Adams, Ashtabula, Athens, Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Gallia, Geauga, Guernsey, Harrison, Hocking, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lake, Lawrence, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pike, Portage, Ross, Scioto, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Trumbull, Vinton, Washington and Wayne counties.

Why attend?

Attendees will hear from Director Butler, representatives from ODNR and Ohio EPA, the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program and from a representative from Energy in Depth.  You will gain a better understanding of oil and gas well requirements, common problems associated with smaller oil and gas operations and about how Ohio EPA is improving its operations to better assist you in meeting your environmental compliance and sustainability goals. You will have an opportunity to interact directly with our Southeast and Northeast District Office leadership and gain helpful insight on how to effectively work with district office inspection and permitting staff. Program staff from the air divisions will also be on hand during informal breakout sessions to answer your specific questions on regulatory compliance and permitting.
