OFFICER DOWN, SURVIVAL 101
This training is designed for all police officers regardless of rank or assignment and focuses primarily on the aspects associated with surviving critical incidents. Chief John Bouthillette was critically injured in the line of duty and provides personal and valuable insight on how he survived this deadly encounter.
During the training, Chief Bouthillette will discuss issues related to how the aftermath of this horrific event affected his personal life, his family and his department and the issues associated with recovering both mentally and physically from this type of critical incident. The training also addresses the need to develop realistic training programs and post incident action plans.
