2019 EMS Delivery Implementation
The goal of the survey is to capture suggestions and ideas for improving the enhanced 911 delivery services in Oceanside. Please keep information concise and recognize that this is not the platform to add patient sensitive information.

DISPATCHED RESOURCES

IF REFERRING TO A SPECIFIC CALL INCLUDE THE CAD#.
ALS INSTEAD of BLS: Should of been dispatched ALS instead of BLS
BLS INSTEAD of ALS: Should of been dispatched BLS instead of ALS
AMBULANCE NEEDED: Needed to have an ambulance on the primary dispatch.
NO AMBULANCE NEEDED: Should not have had an ambulance on the primary dispatch.
Worked as intended.

BLS Unit

IF REFERRING TO A SPECIFIC CALL INCLUDE THE CAD#.
BLS UNIT DOWNGRADE: Dispatched with single FF/PM Rescue Ambulance; need to be downgrade eligible for BLS unit.
FRU ON BLS UNIT: Transported ALS on the BLS unit; prolonged wall time.
FRU ON BLS UNIT: Transported ALS on the BLS unit; transported out of city.
BLS unit attached to incident and transported as intended.

HOSPITAL -

Radio report and hospital turnover worked as intended.
RADIO REPORTS - Hospital staff did not allow downgrade of eligible patient.
TURNOVER - Hospital voiced concern over level of care.
WALLTIME - Hospital held resources on the wall for prolonged time.
PROGRAM INFORMATION - Hospital staff confused on program and need further training on turnover.
