How can doctors help? Learn some approaches that can help your patients unlock access to federal and provincial benefits.

1. Discuss and debate doctors' role in addressing poverty.

2. Be able to advise patients where to get help and why to file their income tax.

3. Learn to make an effective patient referrals to relevant programs and how to tackle the forms and rules.
