Introduction to application form for students in Year 12, 2022

Welcome to the application form for the 2022 St Patrick's College Old Collegians Association (OCA) Scholarships.

The OCA is delighted to be offering this opportunity as a way of rewarding fine boys who are negotiating the path towards becoming great men.

By offering these scholarships to either sons or grandsons of Old Collegians, the OCA believes it is also further enhancing the strong traditions of the College while also providing another avenue of support and assistance for its alumni community.

This scholarship is open to descendants of Old Collegians who are not already the recipient of a College scholarship.

Successful applicants will receive a 50% tuition scholarship for their final year of secondary education. The OCA is fully funding this amount for a maximum of two students each year.

Importantly, the OCA is not necessarily looking to reward merely the highest academic performer, or the best musician, or the most talented sportsman. Rather, this scholarship is looking to honour those students who have contributed greatly across the board during their time at the College - those who honour and enhance the SPC school spirit, who respect others, who live in the charism of Edmund Rice and who are well on their way to becoming great men.

We thank you in advance for working in unison with your son to take the time to fill in the questions on the next page by 9am on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Once applications close the OCA, in collaboration with the College, will determine a short list of boys to be involved in an interview process in Term 3.

We thank you again and wish you good luck.
