North Island Scholarship 2018 |
Introduction
The NZSIA North Island Scholarship is designed to help North Island members continue their development within the industry and benefit north island resorts for the future. The aim of the scholarship is to help with the financial burden of travelling to the south island for exams not held in the north. This is directed at those wanting to start or complete the trainer’s certification process, although other courses will be considered depending on applications received. Minimum requirement to apply for this scholarship is level two certification ski or snowboard.
There are up to two ski and two snowboard qualifications available for 2018. The scholarship will provide reimbursement of the course fee and lift tickets while in the course, to be paid out the following year upon acceptance of a winter instructing role in the north island. Scholarship closes 1st June 2018.
