Below are descriptions of each volunteer position:
Button Checker: These volunteers greet guests as they enter the buildings and check to make sure that each guest is wearing a New Year's Fest button. Typically, this is an "indoors" job. If you sign up early enough, this is a great spot for a group of volunteers. In some locations, you can even see the show.
Locations: First Presbyterian Church, Heated Tent in Bronson Park, Heated Tent on Church Street, & First Baptist Church.
Shift times: 5:45-7:45 p.m., 7:30-9:30 p.m. & 9:15-11:15 p.m.
Celebration Tent (Information Tent): This position helps to manage the Bronson Park Heated Tent which includes the distribution of event information, selling buttons, and general needs in the park. This position is located in a heated tent at Bronson Park.
Shift times: 3:30-5:30 p.m., 5:15-7:15 p.m., 7:00-9:00 p.m., 8:45-10:45 p.m., & 10:30-midnight.
Floater: The Bronson Park Tent is home of a variety of fun activities throughout the night, including arts & crafts, line dancing and more. Floaters work in the Heated Tent and then fill in where needed as volunteers need support.
Shift times: 5:45-7:45 p.m., 7:30-9:30 p.m. & 9:15-11:15 p.m.
Volunteer Check-in: These volunteers work in the Heated Tent in Bronson Park and help us welcome the volunteer.
These shifts times are a little bit different and are from: 5:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. & 7:45 - 9:45 p.m.
