1. Introduction

If you live adjacent to the substation site, you may have noticed some orange flags recently installed on the grounds. These flags were placed in the locations where we anticipate the five corners of the substation fence line will be located (blue dashed lines in the graphic below).

To help us identify the potential sight lines for the future substation, we are asking for your feedback on this brief survey.

If you cannot see any flags from your property, please still fill out the survey as this data is still helpful to us!

This photo shows the flag locations in the field. This photo was taken standing roughly to the west of the site looking east (please note one flag is obstructed from view in this image, and the yellow line is an approximation).

Question Title

Flags in the field

Flags in the field
The flags are installed on 10-foot-tall poles, but this does not necessarily represent the elevation of the future fence line. Prior to construction, the site will be graded to make it flat, so some of the flags are higher or lower in elevation than the future fence line will be. This exercise is to help us understand generally who might be able to see the substation, and from where.

Please look in the direction of the substation site from your property, and let us know if you can see one (or more) of these flags by filling out the survey on the next page.
