Electronic health records (EHR) are here to stay in the health care delivery system, and they pose both opportunities and challenges. This webinar will discuss the potential of EHRs to greatly improve care coordination and health outcomes. We will also discuss the safety, privacy, and confidentiality issues related to the handling of sensitive information related to trauma, domestic violence, mental health, substance abuse and reproductive health. This webinar will be useful for advocates, clinicians, health care administrators and policymakers.
