Since March, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced business owners to make a variety of changes to protect their employees and customers. One of the biggest challenges many businesses face is figuring out ways to handle activities that used to take place in person, such as making purchases or setting up appointments, on a website, app, or other digital format that reduces face-to-face contact.

In order to help stores, restaurants, and personal care businesses continue to operate safely, the NJEDA has partnered with e-commerce contractors throughout the State to provide free assistance for businesses that need help with web page design, online order fulfillment, online booking, digital payments, and other technology-related challenges. At this time, the program is designed for retail, restaurant, and personal care businesses, but all businesses that are interested should complete the intake form, as this information will inform the NJEDA on potential expansion into new industries for future programs.

To receive assistance, please fill out this survey. Once we have your information, an NJEDAapproved e-commerce contractor will contact you to set up a consultation. Please note, businesses must be registered and have a physical store front in New Jersey to qualify for assistance.
