Neighborhood Gardens Trust Community Garden Walking Tour in Partnership with Feet First Philly & Clean Air Council

Please join us on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00am-12:00pm for a community garden walking tour. We will visit five gardens in the Point Breeze neighborhood, 15th Street Garden (1329 S. 15th St.), Bouvier Garden (1346 Bouvier St.) Concert Garden (21st and Ellsworth St.), Keith Haring (22nd and Ellsworth), 22nd Street Garden (1315 S. 22nd Street).

This walk focuses on the different community gardens in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia which are preserved by the Neighborhood Gardens Trust (NGT). During the walk, participants will get a chance to learn from garden leaders and explore diverse community garden spaces in the neighborhood. Feet First Philly representatives will discuss walkability along the route, and the role that greenspaces like community gardens play in the pedestrian environment.

We'll meet at 15th Street Garden at 10am. This is a 1.1 mile walk with 26 total minutes of walking and we'll spend a few minutes at each garden to explore.
