Technicians are the staff who keep the wheels turning. New entrants to the sector are the future of the industry and we want to celebrate and encourage the achievements of those up and coming in the industry! This is your chance to recognise a new technician whom you feel is head and shoulders above the rest – maybe they are performing beyond expectations, maybe they are going the extra mile- whatever it is that makes them stand out – we want to hear from you!

This award is open to any technician working within a UK and Ireland dealership setting who are currently in their first four years in the role. They could be part of a recognised scheme, a college placement or taking part in workplace training with your dealership independently.
Individuals can be nominated by an employer, manager, senior team member, lecturer or even supplier. The award is for those individuals who worked as technicians in the 2025/2026 year. While written answers to the questions allow our judges to begin building an impression of the dealership, providing evidence such as data, pictures and short videos really help form that special winning picture!

We are looking to award the technician who, in the eyes of their employer and the judges demonstrates:

- An excellent attitude to learning
- A high standard of workmanship
- A high level of progression in their role since they began their role
- A good attitude in the workplace and interest in the greater industry as a whole
- Aspiration to grow in the business and enthusiasm to learn
- Enthusiasm to go above and beyond the expectations of their role, either in their work ethic, their teamwork mentality or their attitude towards the business brand and customer base.

Entries can include the above areas but essentially, our judges are looking to build a picture of what it is that makes your technician stand out from the crowd.(Required.)
