The City plans to construct a new roundabout at East Oak Grove and Rio Grande in 2026. The landscaping in and around the roundabout will be designed to complement the future Public Works Facility to the south, which is expected to be completed in spring 2027. As part of both projects, the City is interested in installing steel artwork within the landscaped areas, continuing the cohesive steel-art theme used in other roundabouts throughout Montrose. Steel sculptures offer an affordable, durable, and low-maintenance way to enhance these public spaces. We’re asking for your input as we select the theme, style, and colors for the artwork. Help us shape the next roundabout sculpture!
