You are invited to participate in a research study for improving our game. The goal of this study is to understand how users perceive, understand, and interact with augmented reality games in natural settings. This study is conducted by the Augmented Environments Lab from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
You will be asked about your experience playing NerdHerder. The survey will take you approximately 5 minutes. Your decision to participate or decline participation in this study is completely voluntary and you have the right to terminate your participation at any time without penalty. The survey is anonymous.
Your participation in this research will be completely confidential and data will be averaged and reported in aggregate. Possible outlets of dissemination may be academic conferences or journals. Although your participation in this research may not directly benefit you personally, it will help us understand how people interact with augmented reality games in their natural settings.
There are no risks to individuals participating in this survey. If you choose to send the survey data through a cellular data network, please make sure you do not exceed your monthly data plan limit with your service providers. The size of the survey is less than an average email (75KB). We do not compensate participants for the data that they send for this study.
