About the Project: The City of Phoenix is improving the North 32nd Street Corridor with streetscape enhancements. In collaboration with the Streets Transportation Department the Office of Arts and Culture has commissioned an artist to work with the project design team to integrate public art into these enhancements
The public art could be integrated in various ways to bolster the visual identity of the area, and improve shade and pedestrian experience; Streetscape enhancements could include but are not limited to sidewalks, seating, shade structures, landscaping layouts, sculptures, enhanced bus shelters, bike parking, etc.
