Understanding patient and carers perceptions: Do we need an online support community?

Cervical myelopathy (or cervical spondylotic myelopathy, CSM) is a common condition caused by deterioration of the spine in the neck leading to compression of the spinal cord.
 

Awareness amongst the general public and health care providers is limited.  Equally no online community exists to support patients and carers.

 
 We would therefore like to invite patients with cervical myelopathy or their carers to participate in this survey as a first step towards establishing an online support community.

 All information will be stored anonymously.
