Every journey tells a tale…….

Moving Stories is a new region-wide creative campaign running from December 2025 to March 2026 which gathers, shares and celebrates the everyday journeys people make by walking, wheeling, cycling and taking the bus and explores how these simple acts of movement bring joy and connection to ourselves, each other and the places we call home.

From the joy of a morning walk to the freedom of wheeling, from shared bus journeys to the connections being made on walkways. Moving Stories will explore how active and sustainable travel brings us closer, boosts wellbeing, and supports a more sustainable, connected region

Communities become connected. Streets become stories. Pathways become possibilities.

We would love to hear about your everyday journeys and how choosing to walk, wheel, cycle or use the bus has made a difference to you, people you know, or your community. Your story could be a moment of connection, a favourite route, or simply how using these ways of travelling helps you feel more connected to the people and places around you. Every story matters.
