(Only french-language artists/bands based in Ontario are eligible)

Ontario is home to Canada’s second largest francophone population of more than 700,000 Ontarians, and represents a rich culture uniquely its own, and a vast musical landscape. MusicOntario is working with community leaders in music, tourism, and culture to cultivate opportunities for artists from Ontario who are creating French-language music to develop business opportunities abroad in France at festivals such as Bis de Nantes (January 19-22, 2022 in Nantes, FR), Printemps de Bourges (May 2022 in Bourges, FR), MaMA Festival (October 2022 in Paris, FR), and Bars en Trans (December 2022 in Rennes, FR).

Artists with strong international export strategy and business goals are encouraged to apply for consideration to showcase and be part of the Ontario delegation at these festivals.
