We are extremely pleased that you will be presenting at the 2021 MISBO Spring Symposium! We appreciate your knowledge, time, and energy, which will help make this event a valuable and educational experience for all attendees.

4.Speaker Agreement
By clicking "I agree" below, you acknowledge that you have read and agree with each bullet point listed below.
  • I agree to comply with all event-related deadlines provided to me by MISBO.
  • I agree to present on the day and at the time provided to me by MISBO.
  • I agree to provide a digital copy of my presentation and to submit it to lindsaycuppia@misbo.com no later than 1 day prior to the event.
  • I give my permission for MISBO to share my presentation (or partial presentation) and any handout materials with MISBO members.
  • I will be present on Zoom at least 15 minutes before the scheduled session time.
  • I will not substantially alter the content of the session as proposed. If a change is necessary, I will contact MISBO at least 30 days prior to the event.
  • I consent to all or a portion of my session being recorded by MISBO for educational and marketing purposes.
  • I will not invite, disinvite, or substitute other speakers to participate without prior permission from MISBO.
  • I understand that there will be no compensation provided in exchange for presenting at this event unless specified otherwise in writing.

5.Terms of Agreement
By clicking "I agree" below, you acknowledge that you have read and agree with each bullet point listed below.
  • Permission: I authorize MISBO to use my name, likeness, photograph, videos, and biographical data in connection with the promotion of the conference program.
  • License: I grant to MISBO a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute my presentations (including handouts, PowerPoint presentations, audio, and video) to conference attendees and members, with appropriate attribution to me. I understand that this license does not change the fact that I retain copyright ownership of my presentations, and does not prohibit me from using my presentations in any way or allowing others to use it.
  • Original Work: I attest that my presentations are my own original work, and that, to the best of my knowledge, my presentations do not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including any copyright, trademark, and privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful. I have the full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in my presentations.
  • Indemnification: I hereby indemnify and hold MISBO harmless from and against any and all claims, expenses (including reasonable attorney fees), and liability whatsoever arising directly or indirectly, out of my actions or inactions at, or participation in, the program (including but not limited to any injury or damage which I may suffer as a result of my participation in the program).
  • Promotion: During my presentation, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service, nor will I disparage MISBO in any way. I will also refrain from disparaging any perceived or real competitors. I will maintain the high degree of professionalism expected by MISBO of its presenters.
  • Obligation: I agree to notify MISBO immediately in the event that an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligations as a speaker. If this occurs I will email diannesagaas@misbo.com at my very earliest opportunity.
