About the Census

Thank you for being part of this important initiative for NSW museums and galleries.

The Census takes most organisations 20 minutes to complete. It’s ideal to complete the Census on a desktop rather than a mobile device.

Before getting started, please check the Census homepage for supporting information, a Census preview of questions and question guidance.

If you need to take a break, you can pause and come back to the Census at a later time if needed. For any questions or assistance at any time in completing the census, contact us at (02) 9270 3100 or comms@mgnsw.org.au, and one of our staff will be happy to help.

All responses will be treated confidentially, and data published in the final report will be kept anonymous.
