Monroe County is developing affordable workforce housing for tourism industry employees as part of a new program. We need to ensure that we deliver housing at income limits and rental rates that match our community’s salaries. To inform the decisions that need to be made about this housing, we are requesting that businesses in the tourism-related sector complete the wage and salary information in the following survey.
The survey is divided into five sections: this section, which asks about your location, and then RETAIL, RESTAURANT/BAR/FOOD SERVICE, LODGING, and ATTRACTIONS/RECREATION.
Some businesses offer more than one of these, so please fill out the sections that pertain to your business (i.e., some restaurants have a retail section, some hotels have restaurants, etc.).
Most importantly, thank you for taking the time to fill this out so we have an idea of what current tourism-industry-related professionals are making. This will help us set the right requirements for this very needed housing.
