The Village of McBride is preparing a five-year Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT) Strategic Plan. This questionnaire is intended to gather input from tourism stakeholders to help identify priorities, investment areas, and opportunities that will strengthen McBride’s tourism economy over the next five years.

15.Village Council supports the creation of a new position at the Village of McBride to support delivery of Municipal and Regional District Tax action items. This part-time Tourism Coordinator position will assist in developing, marketing, and organizing tourism products, act as a liaison between businesses, communities, and visitors, focusing on tasks like research, creating promotional materials, coordinating events, managing social media, and ensuring positive guest experiences to support local tourism growth.

This position will be jointly funded by the Village of McBride and the Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT) program.
