MATES Community Network (MCN) is Meadows Arts and Technology Elementary School's non-profit parent teacher supporting organization. This survey is specifically evaluating MCN, rather than MATES as a school. Our Mission Statement is the following:

The purpose of this corporation are to provide the following at MATES, in collaboration with the MATES’ Administration and Board of Directors:
  • Encourage a sense of community between students, families, and school.
  • Provide enrichment of students’ educational experiences through programs and events.
  • Raise funds to support the educational mission and goals of MATES.
  • Support the teachers and staff through needed purchases.
  • Promote and encourage community service among the students and families through school-wide and community-wide projects and activities.
1.Educational Programs

Each year we plan several programs/events directed at enhancing the educational experience of students at MATES. This year we have completed Family Movie Night, Winter Art Gallery, Music Night, STEAM Night, Women in History, and the Family Dance. 5.Each year, MCN supports student enrichment learning opportunities with assemblies and programs designed to help support the work done within the classrooms. This year we were able to hold the Winter Art Gallery and STEAM Night. Were you able to attend these programs?

8.Fundraising

MCN coordinates three major fundraisers each year (Direct Donation, Fun Run, and the Benefit Dinner & Auction). Historically, we raise about $45,000 through Direct Donations, $40,000 through Fun Run, and $35,000 through Benefit Dinner. We also offered minor fundraisers such as Family Photo Days and Restaurant Nights. Overall, how satisfied are you with the quality of the major fundraisers this year?
