Marl Lake Angler Survey

Marl Lake (in Montcalm County) is a deep lake capable of sustaining a rainbow trout population. The lake is currently being managed for these rainbow trout. Annually, the DNR stocks 1,000 yearling rainbow trout in Marl Lake.

It is under TYPE C Trout Regulations: open the entire year, has a year-round possession season, has no gear restrictions, and has an 8-inch size limit on trout. Other species may also be present and targeted.
