US Maple Business Professional Development Funds: Application

The UVM Maple Business program seeks to increase access to business education and technical assistance services supporting the US maple sector. Up to $700 is available for professional development activity that enables individuals to contribute to a growing network of maple business education and service providers. Recipients do not need to be exclusively involved in the maple industry or business development services but must demonstrate a commitment to contribute to this national effort after the professional development.

Funding will be awarded to support attendance at conferences, meetings, classes and related training activities. Awardees will be expected to maintain communications with the UVM Maple Business staff from 2021-2023 to support efforts that increase business education and assistance through this project. Awardees participation can range from one's goals to develop programs themselves to simple networking support that enables UVM programs to reach new audiences.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis each year until the annual cap on funds is met. Approximately 10 awards will be available in 2022 and 10 awards will be available in 2023.
