The Michigan Association for Media in Education (MAME) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization of school librarians (also known as school library media specialists), university library educators, and others who are committed to fostering quality school library programs that transform teaching and learning for PreK-12 students. We are asking for your responses to this survey about school library programs and funding for education. The survey is open to all candidates for the Michigan House and Senate who are on the August 2022 Primary Election ballot.
The purpose of this survey is to communicate to our members and others the views of candidates seeking seats in the Michigan Legislature concerning issues that are fundamental to the profession including student success, information literacy, intellectual freedom, and digital citizenship. MAME will publish the responses - including open-ended responses - to inform and educate our members and voters across the state.
The survey will be available on the MAME website at http://www.mimame.org/ until July 1, 2022.
