Introduction

The Malta Council for Science and Technology is a public body established by the central government in 1988 with the mandate of advising government on science and technology policy. MCST sets out the research and innovation strategy to provide a vision for the research and innovation community.

The objective of this survey is to collect your opinion and suggestions on Malta’s future in Research and Innovation. We would like to understand whether what Malta should be focusing on, and whether we should look at new and exciting areas that through investment in research and innovation, can provide a better quality of life. We want to understand Malta’s challenges and opportunities and receive input on ideas and priority areas for a new Strategy post-2020.


Il-Kunsill Malti għax-Xjenza u t-Teknoloġija huwa korp pubbliku mwaqqaf mill-gvern ċentrali fl-1988 bil-mandat li jagħti pariri lill-gvern dwar il-politika tax-xjenza u t-teknoloġija. MCST tistabbilixxi l-istrateġija ta 'riċerka u innovazzjoni biex tipprovdi viżjoni għall-komunità tar-riċerka u l-innovazzjoni.

Nixtiequ nifhmu jekk xiex għandha tiffoka fuq Malta, u jekk għandux inħarsu lejn oqsma ġodda u eċċitanti li permezz tal-investiment fir-riċerka u l-innovazzjoni, jistgħu jipprovdu kwalità tal-ħajja aħjar. Aħna rridu nifhmu l-isfidi u l-opportunitajiet ta' Malta u nirċievu kontribut dwar ideat u oqsma ta' prijorità għal Strateġija ġdida wara l-2020.
