Common Grain Alliance and Local Food Network (the "researchers") will use this study to introduce small business owners with similar cooperative interests. The researchers will code the aggregated results of this project in such a way that respondents' identities will remain confidential unless they request to be introduced to other businesses interested in cooperation. The researchers will present aggregate data to represent averages or generalizations; store all data in a secure location accessible only to the researchers; and make final aggregate results available to participants, state agencies, NGOs, and other local food stakeholders upon request.
