Health Care and Mental Health Provider Survey of LGBTQ+ People

LGBTQ+ refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and others on the gender and sexuality spectrum.
TGNC refers to transgender and gender non-conforming people.

The North Idaho Pride Alliance, with funding from the Pride Foundation, conduced a survey in early 2018 to better understand the needs of transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) people in Idaho and Eastern Washington with the intent to improve services for the community. Those results have informed the questions in this survey.

We believe that with providers having a greater awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ specific issues and with LGBTQ+ people having a central place to get resources, we can begin to work towards eliminating long-standing barriers to equal access, opportunities, and resources for LGBTQ+ people.
