Seaclose Swimming Club Lessons Competition - Island Games Fundraiser

SSC Lessons Competition - Island Games Fundraiser

To give our lessons swimmers a chance to take part in races, and to help raise funds to support our swimmers attending the 2025 Island Games in Orkney we are running a swimming gala for our swimmers in our lessons groups.

There will be 25m and 50m races for Front Crawl, Backstroke and Breaststroke.

The competition will be run by members of the Orkney swim team, supported with the teachers and coaches.

The races will be between 08.00 and 09.30 on Saturday 5th April.

Everyone will receive a medal for competing and we hope it will be a good introduction for any swimmers who want to race.

Entry is £2.50 per event.

We will also be holding a 'chuck a duck' competition on the day where swimmers and parents have the chance to win a prize by throwing one of our rubber ducks into a target in the pool.

To help us plan the event please complete the form below confirming which races you would like to take part in. Deadline extended - please enter by midnight, Wednesday 2nd April.

You can also pre-order your ducks if you want to join in 'chuck a duck' at £2 per duck (but you will be able to buy these on the day too).

Payments will be made to the Swim club through the normal account and all proceeds will go towards funding the Island Games swim team.
