Sports Person of the Year Award

Nominations are open to any child who has excelled as an individual or in a team, in one or more sports, whose level of achievement represented Leamington School, or their club, to the highest level / greatest achievement.  

Achievements by nominees will only be considered if they have occurred during the qualifying period of 15 October 2019 to 22 November 2020.  

Information presented in the nomination form must be clear, concise and accurate as it is used by the judging panel to make an informed and final decision on finalists and winners of the following awards; 

Excellence in Sport Awards, (any year group), and; 
Sportsperson of the Year, (Year 5/6 students only).  
Nominees under consideration for the award must; (a) be enrolled at Leamington School during the qualifying period and (b) represent Leamington School or a Cambridge based club in their chosen discipline during the qualifying period. 

Selection of finalists and winners will be made by a panel of judges (Leamington School Shape Squad, Leamington School Senior Leadership Team member and Sport Waikato representative).  

The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
