What will be the critical skills required for the Future of Work.

Leadership will be even more critical for our people, businesses and organisations after COVID-19. With many of our employees now working remotely and virtually we will need leaders who are capable to navigate these new ways of working and challenges.

Strong leadership is the backbone of any business and organisation. Leaders create the vision, support the strategies, motivate and inspire others. They are the catalyst for developing the individual bench strength to move the organisation forward.

Yet leadership can be an elusive characteristic, and developing leaders to their full potential remains one of the great challenges for organisations and businesses today. Upcoming changes in the way we work and lead threaten many of us however we also see great opportunities.

This will make developing leadership skills and bench strength now an even greater challenge for organisations and businesses to resolve in order to remain competitive in the future.

We need Courageous Leadership and Leaders. We need to develop the mindset, skills and leadership behaviours to build this bench strength and tools to lead these challenges as well as a remote workforce.

McDonald Inc. are conducting a Critical Leadership Skills Survey to give us the direction and insights in terms of how we can all make a difference to leadership.
