City of Laguna Beach Community Preparedness and Evacuation Workshops Join Laguna Beach Fire, Police, Marine Safety, and Emergency Management for an informative and interactive workshop to learn about your Evacuation Management Zone and how to prepare for fast-moving evacuations. This hands-on session will guide you through emergency planning, and you'll work through a discussion-based evacuation simulation targeted to your evacuation zone.Who Should Attend: Residents Those who work, attend school, religious services, or social activities in the city Business and property owners What’s Included: Food Childcare (children must be potty-trained) - minimum of 4 children registered 1 week prior is required Why Attend: Understand your neighborhood evacuation routes Learn how the city uses alert and warning systems to ensure you receive emergency alerts Prepare your emergency kits to evacuate quickly Receive advice from first responders on staying safe during evacuations Ask neighborhood-specific evacuation questions Registration:Registration is required and free!Minimum of 12 participants is required one week before each workshop to avoid cancellation.
