The Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Lubbock District is seeking your feedback on the preparing plans to replace the SL 289 bridges that cross Slide Road in the City of Lubbock. The bridges have reached their lifespan and will be replaced with one bridge structure in the existing footprint of SL 289. There are no plans to add travel lanes or relocate ramps for SL 289. There are detours planned and temporary closures to access in necessary areas.
