Thank you for your interest in an Exchange Club grant. Our Large Grant application is intended for requests over $500 (if you have a smaller request, please see our Small Grant application). Typical awarded grants run up to $2500.

Please review the guidelines below and fill out the following application.

Guidelines
The Helena Exchange Club will consider the following statements in awarding grants:

1) Preference for recognized non-profit organizations, or individuals deemed in high-need of assistance
2) Priority will be given to those youth-oriented
3) Other factors influencing our decision:
- Purpose and long-term need
- Amount and age group of those to be helped
- Procedure and accountability that is followed
- Previous Helena Exchange Club grant recipient (within last 3 years)
- Other contributors of project or additional sources of income
- How the organization will report back on the success of their project
- How the project fits into Exchange Club Pillars of Service
- Service area of the project (we prioritize programs that specifically serve the Lewis & Clark county area)

The Helena Exchange Club may request more information in order to make final funding decisions.

Application Timeline
The Helena Exchange Club Board of Directors reviews grant applications during its monthly meetings, typically held on the second Monday of each month. Applications are reviewed at the next scheduled meeting following submission. Applicants will typically receive a response within one week following the meeting at which their request is reviewed.
