Lake George Angler Survey

Lake George (in Ogemaw County) is a deep lake capable of sustaining a rainbow trout population. The lake is currently being managed for these rainbow trout. Annually, the DNR stocks 9,000 yearling rainbow trout in Lake George.

It is under TYPE B Trout Regulations: open the entire year, has a year-round possession season, has no gear restrictions, and has a 12-inch size limit on rainbow and brown trout. Other species may also be present and targeted.
